Dear Friends,

Greetings in Jesus’ name from my home in N Z.
My time in North America was enjoyable and rewarding as I renewed fellowship with friends, visiting Washington, Oregon and Canada. The hospitality was superb and the climate was warm and mostly sunny. In Canada I visited with my sister and family, which included a special few days on Keats Island near Gibson on the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver area. While there I took a water taxi across to Gibson to visit 95 year old Irene, who is delightful. She attended the church I pastored during the 70’s.
Since returning home on the 16th September, it’s been a catch up time with Global Nulife in NZ and a visit to the Coromandel Peninsula. I ministered with Beauty for Ashes Women’s Retreat in Tairua and then preached at the Elim Church there Sunday morning. There was such a desire for revival so it was a time of refreshing and expectancy. An added bonus of the trip was the scenery, which is some of the most impressive in the country, if not the world.
I am planning to visit Taranaki in November. I always look forward to this time of the year when I come into this beautiful area and luscious farm land around the snowcapped Mount Taranaki. It has recently been rated the second most popular tourist place on the
planet! The locals are among the most wonderful people you could ever meet.

Our 2017 team to India in January and February has twelve willing workers who will travel in three states bringing the good news. It is a special trip to India as it is our 25th annual team visit. It is fulfilling to know that during these years we have launched some other ministries who have formed new ministries which reach into several other nations as well as India. A few of the children we have raised are now pastors and all of the children are impacted by the Good News.
I am excited about another new church and parsonage almost ready for dedication. Also, some progress has been made on the House of Hope building repairs so needed and required by the government to keep the home open.

As we go through the challenges of living in a world of increased turmoil and chaos, remember that we belong to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken or destroyed! The news media is actually telling us that Jesus is coming soon. We can only say, “Even so come Lord Jesus.” Let us lay up treasures in heaven and do our part to reach the world with the great hope that the true Gospel alone can bring to this troubled world.

Thank you for helping us with the challenges set before us. This way you can be part of the team in this next missions outreach. (Eccl.11:1)

May you have a blessed Christmas.
Lovingly in Christ,
Nancy

Report from Samuel John and Juni:
We have begun the work on the necessary rebuilding kitchen/dining hall. Thank you for financial help for the same. We must be government approved to keep our orphanage open. This rebuild is urgent now.

The House of Hope children are studying well and are healthy even as many in our area are being hospitalized and even dying of the many diseases that are spreading. They are growing in Christ and happy. The village churches we have visited to bring encouragement are all doing well.
We have also visited eight colleges,15 schools, jails and every dwelling in three villages distributing thousands of Bibles, and tracts sharing the Gospel in the streets of new villages. There has been some opposition.
Juni led a retreat in September where 1500 youth attended. Nine hundred turned to Christ. Many of these young people are addicted to alcohol and drugs..
Thank you for your prayers as we move into the darkness bringing the light of the glorious Gospel giving them a hope and a future both in this life and the one to come.
We continue to receive requests for community “Jesus Wells” in areas where people are walking up to twelve kilometers for drinkable water.

Report from El-Shaddai Children’s Home:
Greetings to you, Praise the Lord for you all.
As a result of the team visit in February 2016, the orphanage and leprosy village were greatly pleased and received strength in Christ. Today they are more dependent on God.
