Dear Friends,

Greetings in Jesus’ wonderful name.

In the last few months, the Lord has opened the way for me to visit groups in N Z who are interested in our work.  I visited our faithful friends at Living Waters in Tauranga over the Easter weekend and then visited the Coromandel Peninsula.  My good friend and prayer partner Tai accompanied me.

The weekend began with “River Day” at Pauanui on Friday and continued with “Beauty for Ashes” (Tonia Butler) all day Saturday in Tairua and then Pauanui Baptist Church on Sunday morning.  I met some wonderful new friends and appreciated the warm hospitality of Pastors Murray and Julie Snook.  There may be those who will come to India on the team in 2018 from those we met.  It was a full on weekend and we were all blessed so much.  The beautiful scenery was an added bonus.

I also caught up with our Indian church in Tauranga. Our Fijian Indian sister Nirmala came with us to India and was a special team member, as well as staying on ministering after the team left, and finding long lost relatives in India.  Exciting!

In June I went back up to Auckland for a profitable meeting with our trustees and with Pastors Clive and Joy Lietze from Tapanui, who are our new team leaders.  Then it was to “The Father’s House” in Onehunga to our generous friends there.  It has also been good to be home for a bit longer this season.

The next few months I will be in North America.  I flew out on 11th July and will return to N Z on 22nd September.  During this time I am with family in Canada and friends and churches in Washington and Oregon.  An added bonus is that I can enjoy the summer weather, which is good for my health, after a lot of cold weather in N Z.  I have enjoyed good health mainly but now I am having a health challenge.  Recent X-rays revealed that my left hip is in need of replacement.  At least now I know where the pain has come from!  I am “on the list” for surgery, so please pray that it will be sooner than later and that I can cope with my busy schedule.  Apart from what our medical people can do, we do pray for a miracle.  Please join me in prayer.  Thanks.

This ministry is continuing the good work in South India.  Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness to the cause.  As we follow the instruction to “Draw out thy soul to the hungry” our own light will shine brighter (Isa. 58:10).  As we continue to sow good seed the harvest is guaranteed.  “Good seed, Good soil, Good crop.”  One sows, another waters, but God gives the increase. (I Cor. 3:6)  May the Lord continue to bless you and your families.

Lovingly,
Nancy

Report from Ps. Johney and Sujatha:

Thank you every one for your prayers for our summer kids’ camps. (VBS)  This year the theme (PEACE STAR) was selected from Dan.12.  Our programs started 23rd April and completed on 12th June.

We have conducted three teacher training programs in different provinces and trained 500 teachers, and distributed 17,000 workbooks and 1000 teacher guides.  Fifty churches were represented in these trainings, which includes all the main line churches.

We have visited and ministered with our team in 25 churches, and reached 4,250 children.  Among them 1,553 children have taken a decision to be “peace stars” and live for Christ.  We taught the children about the Lord’s Prayer, Beatitudes, Moses, Nehemiah, Daniel and his three friends, and the Fruit of the Spirit.  The children were blessed by the new songs, puppetry, and Bible lessons.

God used us mightily, gave us wisdom and filled us with a mighty anointing.  We praise God that He poured His mighty anointing on children and they spoke in new tongues.  Hallelujah!

According to our final reports, from the trained teachers in Kakinada region, 15,350 children have been reached.  Thank you, Global Nulife and all the prayer partners, for your prayer and financial support for this children’s work.  Please do pray for the follow up work that is in progress.  We need Bibles for follow up work.
